The building has 1,690.00 rooms that can accommodate 6,320 pilgrims, as well as 33 elevators and two service elevators to help with vertical movement. The architectural style is designed to match the close location of the Holy Mosque. Natural lighting and ventilation are available in the rooms that overlook the open court.
